Douwe Hoogstra
My passion is to help clients achieve their business and personal goals, dreams and aspirations. I relate to and enjoy working with people across all levels of an organisation and work with the owners and their team to plan and implement sustainable changes in order to grow the business together.
I work and have experience with a wide range of different business types and sizes. From solo-preneurs to businesses with 50 plus staff. I grew up with my parents owning a construction company. I trained as worked as a civil engineer, and moved to management of consultancy and civil maintenance and construction firms. Then made the jump to operating and growing my own businesses from contract engineering, owning and operating a large cafe/restaurant and catering outfit, and later co-owning and managing a rural veterinary clinic. I’ve been in business advisory and coaching for more than 10 years, and work across all aspects of operating and growing a business, drawing and building on my previous skills and experience.
I work on-site (Waikato, Auckland, Tauranga) and a lot online (NZ wide).
I have a massive passion for (self) leadership development which is also a strong point of difference in terms of why our clients are getting the results. #bebold.
I am positive, result-driven and don’t beat around the bush.
